Description
Summary:Radar ice sounders allow to measure the topography and radar reflectivity of ice sheets’ surface and bed. Strong surface returns mask weak bed returns received simultaneously from different angular positions. We develop a non- linear sparse reconstruction method for bed/surface returns’ separation that uses multi-channel data, and demonstrate its performance using a multi-channel dataset acquired by ESA’s Polarimetric Airborne Radar Ice Sounder during 2011 Antarctica campaign.
