| Summary: | Se ha realizado un nuevo registro de Mendosoma lineatum en aguas centrales de la Patagonia. Este registro es la segunda mención después de que un espécimen fue capturado en el norte del Golfo San Jorge en 2012. Se propuso que el espécimen llegó de la Corriente Circumpolar Antártica y esta hipótesis ahora se refuerza con este nuevo registro. El número de especies que componen la comunidad de arrecifes rocosos de la Patagonia central también se extiende aquí. En la actualidad, ocho especies han sido reconocidas como parte de este entorno, y en este documento el número se extiende a quince con siete nuevas especies identificadas. A new record of Mendosoma lineatum has been made in central Patagonian waters. This record is the second mention after one specimen was caught in the north of San Jorge Gulf in 2012. It was proposed that the specimen arrived from the Antarctic Circumpolar Current and this hypothesis is now reinforced with this new record. The number of species that make up the rocky reef community of central Patagonia is also extended here. At present, eight species have been recognized as part of this environment, and in this paper the number is extended to fifteen with seven new species identified.
