Description
Summary:The following article follows the line of anonymous heroes. Those who despite spending much of their lives serving the country go unnoticed by history in a kind of invisibility. Although at the time when they had to act, their political and diplomatic actions were far from being what we know today. This is the reason why this article focuses on the figure of the Chilean ambassador Juan Manuel Arturo Bianchi Gundián and his contribution to the Chilean antarctic policy, as well as his life and work, which has much to say, especially in the context in which he had to develop his political and diplomatic life.
