Summary:The Arctic has become a geostrategic point due to climate change; the new arctic shipping routes and the resources which were before hidden by ice have attracted more international actors into the area. New states are now getting involve no matter the geographic distance, organizations such as the UNO and the NATO are trying to gain influence in the North and NGOs such as WWF or Greenpeace actively fight for the protection of the arctic environment. Arctic ice internationalization has begun. El cambio climático ha convertido al Ártico en una región geopolítica de especial interés; las rutas árticas y los recursos antes ocultos bajo el hielo han ido atrayendo cada vez a más actores internacionales. Nuevos estados están involucrándose en el área sin importar ya la distancia geográfica, organizaciones como la ONU o la OTAN intentan ganar influencia en el norte y ONGs como WWF o Greenpeace luchan por la protección medioambiental del área. La internacionalización del deshielo ártico ha comenzado.
