Description
Summary:It analyzes the library policies carried out in the Nordic countries(Denmark, Finland, Norway, Sweden and Iceland), what problems they have had and how they have solved their needs, through systems of cooperation, services to ethnic minorities, accessibility to documents, creation of digital repositories, or resolve how intellectual property affects those repositories. To this end the existing literature and documents produced by some organizations is reviewed. One of the most relevant conclusions is the financial aid of the Nordic governments to initiate innovative projects in library policy, arising a collaboration system composed of a set of documentation centers in order to increase their benefits and ensure a better service.
