We assume that this Williams is the son of Wellington Williams and that he took over his father's map and reissued it. It is interesting to see that John M. Atwood published this map - it appears that he not only published maps, but also drew them for others, i.e. Colton and Ensign & Thayer. Of Porto Rico; Virgin Is. And S. Cruz; Islands Of Japan .; Map Of The Great Pacific Ocean With It's Shores And Islands; Alaska; and The Sandwich Islands Or Hawaiian Group. Full color by state.
