Relief shown pictorially and with hachures. Includes a legend, rhumb lines, a bar scale and a compass rose with north oriented toward top of sheet. Descriptive notes throughout. With seven inset charts: Gaspee Bay -- Mingan Island -- Mingan Harbour -- Havre St. Nicholas by Desjardins, Pilot of Quebec -- Bay of the Seven Islands -- Pointe aux Allouettes of Larks Point by Desjardins, Pilot of Quebec -- Bason. Also, with nineteen profile views: Thus appears the Land between Island Bonaventura and Cape Roziers . Black and white copper-engraving. Composite chart is 85 x 234 cm, on three fold-out plates, together 92 x 255 cm. Chart appears on three consecutive sheets, in first volume of atlas.
