Includes latitudinal and longitudinal lines, a legend and explanatory notes, as well as a bar scale and scale statement. Presented with Albers Equal Area Projection. With four inset maps: General and sailing charts -- Bathymetric maps -- Principal islands of Hawaii -- Alaska. Colored lithograph. Chart is 43 x 66 cm, on double sheet 49 x 71 cm. Accompanied by descriptive text on page 295. Appears in Special subject maps section, subsection Mapping and charting.
