Includes compass rose, time zones, and bar scale with scale statement: One inch equals approximately 24 miles. Features legend indicating population. Copyright by Rand McNally & Company, Chicago, Ill. Lithographed in the U.S.A. Atlas of 87 road maps for the United States, Canada and Mexico. Smaller city maps appear at the end. Maps show a variety of roads, from dirt to state and interstate highways, as well as boat lines and airports. Additionally, each map displays populations, and marks state and national parks. Time zone boundaries are also delineated. Includes nationwide distance charts for both the United States and Mexico. “A guide to principal places of interest” describes site-seeing destinations for each state, with associated map and alphanumerical locating codes.
