Description
Summary:We are requesting at total of 25 L22 3-component geophone packages to be deployed for one month to augment a 10 station broadband array centered near -78.99, 180.575E. This a joint request with the Wiens, Aster, Nyblade earth sciences Mantle Structure and Dynamics of the Ross Sea from a Passive Seismic Deployment on the Ross Ice Shelf project. Sample rate desired is 200 samples/s. The L22 stations are to be deployed for approximately 1 month duration by snowmobile from a base camp located at the array center during deployment of broadband stations, and recovered prior to departing the base camp. The array dimensions are approximate. The array will effectively be contained in an approximate circle with about a 15km radius
