Description
Summary:We will deploy a single instrument at the glacier terminus, at previously occupied site BBB, to monitor iceberg claving activity using methods we established in the original Columbia glacier project. Additional measurements are also being performed including ice-pentrating radar, vertical aerial photography, time-lapse photography, surveys of ice motion, hydro acoustic measurements and weather monitoring. Our goal is to continue developing understanding of dynamic instability at marine terminating glaciers.
