Description
Summary:This project is a comprehensive study of polar dry-based glacier termnini dynamics. The glaciers terminate in 30meter high calving ice cliffs. The seismic network will be used to study the calving component of this system. We hope to observe ice fracture and crack propagation of some individual events and overall frequency distribution (spatial, temporal) of claving events on Taylor Glacier and the other glaciers in the valley.
