Description
Summary:These data are daily maximum river temperatures for Scotland River Temperature Monitoring Network (SRTMN) sites. These data underpin Jackson, F. L., Fryer, R. J., Hannah, D. M., Millar, C.P., and Malcolm, I. A. (2018) A spatio-temporal statistical model of maximum daily river temperatures to inform the management of Scotland's Atlantic salmon rivers under climate change published in the journal Science of The Total Environment (issue 612, pages 1543-1558). : Data were obtained from sites that are part of the Scotland River Temperature Monitoring Network (SRTMN: https://www2.gov.scot/Topics/marine/Salmon-Trout-Coarse/Freshwater/Monitoring/temperature), a strategically designed and quality controlled monitoring network. Data were collected at 15 minute intervals throughout 01/07/2015 - 31/06/2016. The maximum observed temperature was then calculated for each day.
