Climatic and environmental changes during the last glacial – interglacial transition in the Ross Sea, Antarctica

We present diatom distributional pattern performed on three gravity cores (ANTA95-98C, KI13-C1, KI13-C2) collected during Antarctic summer 1995 in the framework of the Italian PNRA Project and during February 2013 in the framework of a joint project between Korea and Italy (K-PORT and PNRA/ROSSLOPE...

Description
Summary:We present diatom distributional pattern performed on three gravity cores (ANTA95-98C, KI13-C1, KI13-C2) collected during Antarctic summer 1995 in the framework of the Italian PNRA Project and during February 2013 in the framework of a joint project between Korea and Italy (K-PORT and PNRA/ROSSLOPE Projects). This study is part of an interdisciplinary research that consider different kinds of parameters (magnetic parameters, grain size, organic carbon, biogenic silica and CaCO3 content, major and trace elements, diatoms and foraminifera assemblages).
