Description
Summary:The following data is the source of the data analysis work in the paper titled "Potential Ice Sheet Modulation of Volcanism in West Antarctica: Constraints on the cadence and magnitude of melt delivery into the crust" by Sean Wanket, A.M. Jellinek, and Catherine Johnson.Discrete eruptions gives the age of all eruptions used in this paper for the data analysis. Dates are found using the stratigraphic depths of tephra layers from the Mount Moulton Blue Ice Area reported in Dunbar et al. 2008 and the depth-age timescale from Popp, 2008 and Steig et al., 2015.Continuous eruptions gives a continuous estimation of eruption frequency created by using a gaussian smoothing function on the discrete time series of eruptions. Between the Discrete Eruptions sheet and this sheet a step was taken to create a version of the discrete time series with timesteps of 10 years.Gacial unloading gives the glacial unloading data used in the paper. The LR04 benthic O18 time series from Lisiecki and Raymo, 2005 was interpolated to ...
