Note well that this map does not include two big players in the Vestfirðir at this time Hrafn Oddsson (at Hrafnseyri with Svarthöfði Dufgusson, who arrived back in Iceland in 1242) or Gísli of Rauðasandur. It is worth noting that Hrafn Oddsson probably swore an oath to Kolbeinn ungi before Svarthöfði returned to Iceland, as one of his tenants - but not he - is noted to have refused to do so. |
