Summary:The supplementary material contains four tables and 14 appendices that are referenced in the text of the fourth edition of Excessive Maritime Claims. The tables include territorial sea claims, contiguous zone claims, and exclusive economic zone claims in 2019. The appendices include policy statements by the United States regarding the 1982 Law of the Sea Convention, the US exclusive economic zone and marine scientific research policy for the US exclusive economic zone and continental shelf, US territorial sea and contiguous zone, as well as, with the USSR, on innocent passage. It also includes the various executive branch and Senate documents on the Convention. US policy documents on the Arctic and the Proliferation Security Initiative interdiction principles are also included.
