Description
Summary:Samples were collected for Total Dissolved Nitrogen (TDN) from 1995 to present at designated stations on the Oksrukuyik River on the North Slope of Alaska. Phosphorus addition occurred on the Oksrukuyik River from 1991 to 1996; station sites are relative distance from the original 1991 dripper. Phosphoric acid was added to the stream to increase soluble reactive phosphorus by 0.32 uM. From 1993 to 1996, ammonium sulfate was added along with the phosphoric acid. This addition of ammonium sulfate was added to the stream to increase N by 7.1 uM. From 1997 to present, the historic fertilized reach has been in recovery. Samples have been analyzed for total dissolved nitrogen on the Oksrukuyik Creek since 1995 and this file includes data from 1995-1997, 2000, 2003-2005 and 2007-present. Data is not available for other years.
