Earth Trends (discontinued): Water Resources and Freshwater Ecosystems | Country: Iceland | Labor Metric: Actual Renewable Water Resources: Per capita, 2006-2007. Data-Planet™ Statistical Ready Reference by Conquest Systems, Inc. [Data-file]. Dataset-ID: 024-001-002. EarthTrends is a comprehensive online database, maintained by the World Resources Institute, that focuses on the environmental, social, and economic trends that shape our world. NOTE: The database was discontinued and is no longer being maintained by the World Resources Institute as of 2012. See alternative indicators relevant to the world's environment available from such sources as the World Bank, National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration, Environmental Protection Agency, etc. Category: Natural Resources and Environment Source: World Resource Institute The World Resources Institute (WRI) is an environmental think tank that goes beyond research to find practical ways to protect the earth and improve people's lives.
