Description
Summary:This dataset is related to Kinnunen et al. (2024) manuscript Projected changes in forest fire season, number of fires and burnt area in Fennoscandia by 2100. The JSBACH-SPRITFIRE ecosystem model regional simulations were done under two climate change forcing scenarios (RCP 4.5 and RCP 8.5) and three global climate driver models (CanESM2, CNRM-CM5 and MIROC5) with a 0.5 degree resolution. The simulated model domain was limited to the land area within 55–71◦ N and 5–34◦ E. From daily simulated fire variables, the monthly or annual means (1981-2100) are calculated by CDO (Climate Data Operators version 2.0.4 (https://mpimet.mpg.de/cdo)). Dataset includes analyzed variables, which are 9 simulated variables and 3 derived variables (calculated from fire danger index). They all are presented under 6 climate projections, total 72 NetCDF files. ...
