Description
Summary:These are the keogram-style auroral images that were surveyed to identify the time and latitude boundaries of the types of pulsating auroras. The dates surveyed comprise the times between 2006-2016 when the THEMIS all-sky imagers at Rankin Inlet, Nunavut (RANK); Gillam, Manitoba (GILL); and Pinawa, Manitoba (PINA) simultaneously had clear viewing conditions. Each day of data was divided into 1 hour sized chunks, with one shorter image containing the remaining data for each day. These keograms are aligned along the Gillam meridian at ~-26 degrees magnetic longitude. Filename structure: YYYYMMDD_hhmm-hhmm_RANK-GILL-PINA.png The date is structured as YYYYMMDD, and the time range covered is given in universal time (UT). The ordering of the imagers is given from top to bottom as they appear in the images.
