Description
Summary:As part of the UK Ocean Acidification Benthic consortium programme, long-term (12 month) ocean acidification (OA) experiments were conducted at Plymouth Marine Laboratory, to investigate the impacts of changing CO2 concentration and sea temperature on intertidal rocky shore species. This datasets provides the monitored environmental data from within the experimental containers. There were five replicate “tanks” for each treatment level. In each tank temperature, salinity, pH, total alkalinity and inorganic nutrients were measured routinely. This dataset also contains the associated calculated carbonate system parameters (calculated using CO2sys).
