Barents Sea pore water measurements collected during three consecutive research expeditions (JR16006, JR17007, JR18006) in July/August 2017, 2018 and 2019 as part of the Changing Arctic Ocean programme.

In July/August 2017, 2018 and 2019, pore water from sediment cores were collected using a multicorer at the same five stations (B3, B13-B16) along a south-north gradient in the western Barents Sea for the Changing Arctic Seafloor project (ChAOS) as part of the Changing Arctic Ocean programme. Description
Summary:In July/August 2017, 2018 and 2019, pore water from sediment cores were collected using a multicorer at the same five stations (B3, B13-B16) along a south-north gradient in the western Barents Sea for the Changing Arctic Seafloor project (ChAOS) as part of the Changing Arctic Ocean programme. Additionally, pore water samples were collected at stations B17 and B18 in 2017, at stations B17, BY and BX in 2018 and at station BY in 2019. Pore water samples were analysed for: Fe, Mn, Ba, P, Si, Sr, Ca, Mg, K, S and Na using inductively coupled plasma optical emission spectrometry (ICP-OES) at the University of Leeds, UK.
