Horizontal saturated hydraulic conductivity was measured in 82 subsamples in the laboratory at the University of Leeds using a permeameter method. Measurements of dry bulk density and the degree of peat humification (von Post score) were made in immediately adjacent peat core offcuts, using standard techniques. ...
