Summary: | CESM1 and CESM2 scripts for performing the Q-flux and long-wave flux change experiments analysed in Eiselt and Graversen (2023), In Preparation. Scripts containing "dQ" change the Q-flux as summarised in Table 1 in the paper for both CESM1 and CESM2 (see the respective suffix). The "radiation" script changes the surface long-wave flux as described in section 5 of the paper. (Only tested for CESM2.) The "NoSI" script resets the freezing temperature of saltwater to a very low value, effectively deactivating sea ice. This works only for CESM2. The scripts are taken from the publicly available CESM1.2.2 and CESM2.1.3 code (https://www2.cesm.ucar.edu/models/cesm1.2/ and https://www.cesm.ucar.edu/models/cesm2/, respectively) and adjusted by the author. Note that in order to function properly, the experiment and model name suffixes must be removed. The original script names are: (1) docn_comp_mod.F90, (2) radiation.F90, (3) shr_frz_mod.F90.in The scripts must be copied into the following directories in ... |
