See Shinohara (1995) for more references. Lectotype designation. Malaise (1931) described this species based on “ 2♂♂ und 2♀♀ aus Klutchi, Kamtchatka ” but did not designate a holotype. We hereby designate the female labeled “Typus” in Malaise’s collection (NHRS), as lectotype. It is labeled “ Kamtschatka, Malaise” “Typus” “ Pamphilius virescens Mal. Type Malaise det.” “818”. It was treated as the holotype by Beneš (1974) and Shinohara (1995) and fully redescribed by Beneš (1974). Material examined.
