Valea Uzului, 30.05.2020, 1 male, host Plecotus auritus (Linnaeus). Distribution. This is the most common Basilia species and is distributed all over Europe. In Romania it has been collected from all historical regions, with 11 distinct geographical records altogether. Remarks. The primary hosts of this species are My. bechsteinii and My. nattereri , with accidental occurrences on other species.
