Summary:Genus Sensiava gen. nov. Description. Male. Cephalosome and first pedigerous somite and pedigerous somites 4–5 incompletely separated. Rostrum with 2 long filaments. Antennules asymmetrical, right one 23-segmented and geniculate, left 24-segmented. Mouthparts well developed. Praecoxal endite of maxilla with 5 setae; endopod with 8 sensory setae (3 worm-like, 5 brush-like). Praecoxal lobes of maxilliped syncoxa with 1 sclerotized seta on proximal lobe, 2 sclerotized setae on medial lobe and 3 setae (2 sclerotized, 1 poorly sclerotized) on distal lobe, setal formula 1,2,3. Terminal endopodal segment of maxilliped with 4 setae (2 thick and long, about 1.6 times longer than basis). Swimming legs typical of Clausocalanoidea, with P1 endopod 1-segmented, P2 endopod 2-segmented, and P3–P4 endopods 3-segmented. P1–P4 exopods 3-segmented.
