Type fixation. Holotype, manca, by monotypy, NHM 1910.3.18.95. Remarks on type material. The holotype is a small unnaturally flattened specimen, apparently manca stage 1 (no development of pereopod VII); surfaces are covered with detritus and crystals, but can be seen to be smooth with little or no setation.
