Summary:Notiophilus semistriatus Say, 1823 NEW BRUNSWICK: Albert Co.: 3 km north of Fundy National Park, 4.viii.1994, black spruce plantation, J. Julian, pitfall trap, (6, NSMC). Newly recorded in New Brunswick. These specimens were collected incidentally in the course of research on amphibians published by Waldick et al. (1999). In Nova Scotia the species is recorded only from Cape Breton Island (C.G. Majka, unpublished data). Found in a large variety of environments on open or half-shaded ground (Larochelle & Larivière 2003).
