Sphagemacrurus grenadae (Parr 1946) (Fig. 3 L) Material examined. 31 specimens: MNRJ 26879 (25, 99.0–220.0 mm), T, D- 506; MNRJ 26910 (1, 62.0 mm), AG, ASTRO 2003021101; MNRJ 26947 (2, 230.0–253.0 mm), T, E- 527; MNRJ 27049 (1, 113.0 mm), T, E- 520; MNRJ 27051 (1, 188.0 mm), T, E- 512; MNRJ 27052 (1, 138.0 mm), T, E- 526. Distribution. Collected from off Bahia, Espírito Santo and Rio de Janeiro, at depths from 1036 to 2271 m. Sphagemacrurus grenadae was described from off Grenada, and is known from the Gulf of Mexico and Caribbean to southern Brazil (Marshall 1973 c; Serét & Andreata 1992). : Published as part of Melo, Marcelo R.
