Eupithecia sachalini Vojnits, 1981, Annales historico-naturales Musei Nationalis Hungarici 73 : 234, figs 11 ( nec 19), 17. Holotype ♂ (TTM, examined), [Russia]: Sahhalin [= Sakhalin], Tomovsk [= Tymovskoje] (synonymised in Mironov, 1990). Unavailable name (incorrect subsequent spelling): bochathi : Vasilenko (1999). A widespread East Asian species, occurring from Tibet in the west through Mongolia and southern Siberia to Kamchatka, Sakhalin and Korea in the east. Added to the fauna of Mongolia by Moucha (1967).
