Basibiont of other hydroids (Peña Cantero & Vervoort 2004). Distribution. Circum-Antarctic (Peña Cantero & Vervoort 2004). West Antarctica : the Bellingshausen Sea (Hartlaub 1904) and the Weddell Sea (Peña Cantero et al . 1997).
