SO06-M1-B, Off MiyakO, 39°40.4′ N, 143°11.3′ E, 2018 m deep, 16.vi.2006. Paratypes: NSMT-POl P501, 13 specimens, same data as fOr hOlOtype [NSMT-POl = POlychaete COllectiOn Of the NatiOnal Science Museum, TOkyO, nOw kept in the NatiOnal Museum Of Nature and Science, Tsukuba]. Etymology . The specific name is dedicated tO the late Dr. MinOru Imajima, HOnOrary CuratOr Of the NatiOnal Museum Of Nature and Science, Japan, whO passed away On March 13, 2016, in recOgnitiOn Of his great cOntributiOn tO pOlychaetOlOgy. Distribution . KnOwn Only frOm the type lOcality (Imajima 2009). Remarks . This species is characterized by the absence Of eyes and having a pair Of elOngated palps that cOnsist Of digitifOrm palpOphOres and medially directed palpOstyles, resembling R . profunda with these unique mOrphOlOgical characteristics shared.
