Summary:Aprionus reduncus Jaschhof, 2009 Aprionus reduncus, the smallest species of the genus Aprionus, was previously known from only four males (see Jaschhof & Jaschhof 2009). The first specimen of this species in Sweden was collected in a forest nature reserve that our surveys have proven to be the most productive locality for mycophagous gall midges in all of southern Fennoscandia.
