It is not possible to determine if the material studied by Briggs (1938) belongs to this species. This author indicated that his specimens were much larger than those described by Jäderholm (1904). We believe that Briggs’s (1938) material could belong to Oswaldella stepanjantsae Peña Cantero, Svoboda & Vervoort, 1997b, but it would be necessary to revise his material to resolve this issue.
