Central Atlantic—Ascension (Fausto-Filho 1974; Manning & Chace 1990; Melo 1996). Ecological notes. From shallow waters to 25 m. Found on and under rocks and coral reefs, under rocks on tide pools (on heterogeneous bottoms), on crevices of rocks, and dead coral, on calcareous algae blocks, and on Halimeda sp. (Melo 1996; Almeida et al. 2010). Remarks. The type locality of P. harttii is the Abrolhos Archipelago (Smith 1869). Santos et al.
