Summary:Anatoma conica (d´Orbigny, 1841) Fig. 2C Scissurella conica d´Orbigny, 1841: 470, pl. 78, figs. 7–9 Scissurella supraplicata — Melvill & Standen, 1912: 119 ( non Smith, 1875). Anatoma conica — Zelaya & Geiger, 2007: 396, figs. 1–15 (synonymy and protoconch) Examined material. 1 an. (MACN-In 40662). Description. Shell width to 1.6 mm (up to 1.8 mm according to Zelaya & Geiger 2007); trochiform, delicate. Protoconch of 1 convex whorl; apex partially sunken. Teleoconch of up to 2.5 whorls, slightly convex in outline. Suture deep, slightly channeled. Surface white; sculptured with about 25 prosocline, strong axial ribs at penultimate whorl and weak spiral cords. In addition, 2 stronger spiral cords delimiting selenizone. Umbilicus open.
