Summary:Spectrunculus grandis (Günther, 1877). Giant Cusk-eel . To 138 cm (54.3 in) TL (Abe and Hiramoto 1984). Circumglobal (Nielsen and Cohen in Nielsen et al. 1999); western Pacific Ocean north to Japan (Machida et al. 1987), and Russian north-western Pacific (Orlov and Tokranov 2019); northern Gulf of Alaska to central California (34°50’N, 123°00’W) (Priede et al. 2019), and to northern Chile (23°29’S) (Kong et al. 1988), including Gulf of California.
