Three specimens, 286.0–323.0 mm TL: MNRJ 26830 (1, 299.0 mm), T, E- 502; MNRJ 26831 (1, 323.0 mm), T, E- 534; USU 0 1251 (1, 286.0 mm), MD, 53 CB 92. Distribution. Bathycongrus vicinalis is being reported by the first time in the WSA. It was described from Cuba, and is also known from Florida, USA to off the Amazon River mouth, in Northern Brazil (Smith 1989 b).
