In western Atlantic, from Greenland to the Gulf of Mexico and Caribbean Sea and from the northwest of Spain to the Gulf of Guinea in the eastern Atlantic. Vulnerability: DD (IUCN), MV (FishBase). Gadomus dispar (Vaillant, 1888) —No common name 6 specimens ranging from 17 to 36 cm TL were caught at depths between 764 and 1,051 m (Bañón et al. 2013a).
