Summary:Bombus ruderarius ruderarius (Müller, 1776) This bumblebee has a Pyrenean distribution between 1175 and 2250 m altitude, preferably on grassland areas of fir, beech and oak (Ornosa & Ortiz-Sanchez 2004). At present it has been collected in forest and supraforestal pastures, especially in grasslands of open forests with Pinus uncinata, Abies alba. and scattered patches of subalpine scrub with blueberry, creeping juniper, rhododendron and heather, between 1000 and 2125 m (Fig. 7), on Acinos alpinus (L.) Moench, Cirsium arvense (L.) Scop., Cirsium acaule (L.) Scop., Eryngium bourgatii Gouan., Gentiana lutea L., Lonicera pyrenaica L., Lotus corniculatus L., Medicago sativa L., Rhododendron ferrugineum L., Silene acaulis (L.) Jacq., Taraxacum officinale Wigg., Trifolium alpinum L., Trifolium pratense L., Trifolium repens L. Vicia cracca L. and Vicia sativa L.
