Hokkaido, Japan and Sea of Okhotsk, Kuril Islands, Commander-Aleutian Islands to Bering Sea (Mecklenburg et al. 2016) to eastern Chukchi Sea (west of Kivalina, 67°32’N, 165°54’W) (Mecklenburg et al. 2011) to San Miguel Island, southern California (Allen and Smith 1988).
