Near Boca de Soledad (25°18’N, 112°11’W), southern Baja California (Personal communication: Scripps Institution of Oceanography Fish Collection, La Jolla, California) to Talara, Peru (Chirichigno and Vélez 1998), including Gulf of California (Robertson and Allen 2015).
