Near Haida Gwaii (54°16’N, 133°17’W), British Columbia (DFO) to off Bahía San Quintin (30°13.3’N, 116°03.7’W), northern Baja California (Personal communication: Scripps Institution of Oceanography Fish Collection, La Jolla, California). The presence of larvae in the northern Gulf of Alaska indicates adults likely are also present there (Matarese et al. 2003).
