Bering Sea south of Saint Lawrence Island, and Cape Navarin, to Chukchi and Beaufort Seas (Mecklenburg et al. 2007), eastward to Somerset Island and Boothia Peninsula, Nunavut (Mecklenburg et al. 2011), and west to Barents and Kara seas. A Cook Inlet, northern Gulf of Alaska record (Mecklenburg et al. 2002) is in error (Mecklenburg et al. 2007).
