Summary:GENUS THYMOPIDES BURUKOVSKY & AVERIN, 1977 Remarks : Prior to 2003, the genus Thymopide s contained a single species, Thymopides grobovi , known from relatively deep (525–1220 m) waters in the southern Indian Ocean and Kerguelen Islands and Heard Island near Antarctica (Holthuis, 1991).
