Summary:Corynoneura collaris Makarchenko et Makarchenko (Figs 8 A–F) Corynoneura collaris Makarchenko et Makarchenko 2010:358. Material examined. CANADA: Northwest Territories, Horton River (6741.2'N, 12239.0'W), 6 males, Malaise trap, 19.vii.2000, D.C. Currie & B. V. Brown (CNC). Diagnostic characters. The sternapodeme of male inverted U-shaped and the gonostylus bent apically, antenna has 9–10 flagellomeres and with long radial sensilla chaetica; superior volsella rounded, and inferior volsella developed and projecting in the median. Male (n = 6) Total length 1.01–1.13, 1.07 mm. Wing length 0.78–0.81, 0.80 mm. Total length/wing length 1.10–1.45, 1.29. Wing length/profemur length 3.3. Wing width/wing length 0.34–0.35 (3). Coloration . apically Entirely brown. Head . Eyes bare. Antenna (Fig. 8 C–D) with 9–10 flagellomeres, with more than 20 apical sensilla chaetica, 76–80 µm long and apically bent; ultimate flagellomere 101 µm long, apically expanded. AR 0.36. Tentorium (Fig. 8 B) 115–121, 118 µm long, 12–18, 15 µm wide; stipes 44 µm long, 3 µm wide. Anterior margin of cibarial pump distinctly concave. Clypeus with 8–10, 9 setae. Lengths of palpomeres (in µm): 10–12; 12–14, 13; 21–22; 22–26, 24; 54–58, 56. Palpomere 5/3 ratio: 2.5–2.6. Thorax : Dorsocentrals 5, other setae not measurable. Wing (Fig. 8 A). VR 3.1–3.3, 3.2. Cu/wing length 0.53–0.55, 0.54; C length 188–200, 193 µm long; Cu 440– 450, 445 µm long; wing width/wing length: 0.33–0.35, 0.34; Costa with 5–8, 7 setae. Legs. Fore trochanter with dorsal keel. Spur of fore tibia 16–20, 18 µm long; of mid tibia 8–10, 9 µm long; of hind tibia 11 µm and 26–28, 27 µm long. Width at apex of fore tibia 18–22, 20 µm; of mid tibia 17–19, 18 µm; of hind tibia (a) 32–36, 34 µm. Width of hind tibia 1 / 3 from apex (d) 19–25, 21 µm; elongation length (b) 30–37, 35 µm; length of maximum thickening (c 1) 63–69, 66 µm; total length of thickening (c 2) 99–104, 102 µm; a/d 1.3–1.8, 1.6; b/d 1.5–1.9, 1.6; c 1 /d 2.8–3.2, 3.0; c 2 /d 4.2–5.1, 4.8. Hind tibia expanded, with comb of 15–16 setae, one seta near spur strongly S-shaped. Lengths and proportions of legs as in Table 6. Hypopygium (Fig. 8 E–F). Laterosternites IX with 1 long seta. Superior volsella rounded and anteriomedially fused. Inferior volsella broad and fused with the inner margin of gonocoxite, with 3–5 strong setae. Phallapodeme curved, 28–30, 29 µm long. Transverse sternapodeme 16–20, 18 µm. Attachment point of lateral sternapodeme with phallapodeme placed and directed caudally. Gonostylus curved to strongly curved, 29–39, 33µm long; megaseta 6–7 µm long. Inner margin of gonocoxite with thin glandular setae. HR 2.2–2.9, 2.5; HV 2.6–3.9, 3.2. Distribution. Previously this species has been recorded only from the Russian Far East. Remarks. The male and pupa were described by Makarchenko et Makarchenko, 2010.
