Description
Summary:Chevroderma turnerae Scheltema, 1985 Scheltema 1985:512; Ivanov & Scheltema, 2002. (Figure 26; Table 5) Distribution: A primarily lower continental rise and abyssal species: North Atlantic and Newfoundland Basins, 3,264 –5,018 m; Argentine Basin, 2,707 –5,208; mid-Atlantic at the Equator, 3,459 –3,730 m; eastern Atlantic from the West European Basin to the Cape Basin, 2,124 –4,829 m; western Indian Ocean, 3,272 – 3,888 m; and eastern Indian Ocean (Bay of Bengal), 2,520 m (Scheltema 1985, Ivanov & Scheltema 2002). Remarks: With its great geographic range from the western Atlantic to the Indian Ocean, and great depth distribution, Chevroderma turnerae may form a species complex. The apparent lack of continuity in the western Atlantic between the North American and Argentine Basins is discussed below. : Published as part of Ivanov, Dmitry L. & Scheltema, Amélie H., 2008, NMR solution structures of KAP- 1 PHD finger-bromodomain, pp. 1-60 in Zootaxa 1885 on page 11, DOI: 10.13018/bmr11036, http://zenodo.org/record/5133706 : {"references": ["Scheltema, A.
