Material examined SOUTH ATLANTIC OCEAN • 1 colony, growing on Campanularia hincksii , without gonothecae; Vema Seamount, stn Dive 3; 71–935 m depth; 31 Jan. 2015; SEAFO-2015 leg.; SEAFO-2015-40132. Distribution Clytia gracilis is a circumglobal species in temperate and tropical waters, widely distributed in the East Atlantic, from England to South Africa (Gil 2017).
